In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Thousand Hills Pet Resort and New Life K9s organized a toy and food drive this past Saturday to support the Season of Hope campaign.
The event, held in honor of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, brought together local families on the Central Coast to contribute new toys and canned food items for KSBY’s 13th annual campaign.
Supporting Veterans and First Responders with Service Dogs
The drive also spotlighted New Life K9s, an organization dedicated to providing highly-trained service dogs to veterans and first responders living with PTSD—at no cost.
The event, which was designed to celebrate both the spirit of giving and National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, aimed to raise awareness for this important cause, honoring those who served.
